Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our client, an industrial products and conveyor systems provider, supporting customers across the Pacific Northwest, based out of the Eugene, OR are. This is a highly field-driven role, with approximately 85% of time spent working directly with customers in the field. The position manages and grows an established territory with existing accounts and focuses on developing long-term relationships while driving sales of heavy industrial conveyor belting systems and related equipment. This is a high-ownership role where individual effort and customer engagement directly impact earnings.

Pay & Schedule
Pay: $42–$50/hour DOE + commission
Schedule: M-F day shift with on-call and off-hours responsiveness per business need
Travel: 85% local travel within assigned territory (Eugene to the OR coast, north to Salem, and South to Northern CA)

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Manage and grow an established book of business while expanding opportunities within existing and new accounts
• Spend approximately 85% of the workweek in the field visiting customers, job sites, and industrial facilities
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and provide solutions related to conveyor systems, bulk material handling, and industrial equipment
• Generate quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing responsive support and technical product knowledge
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction
• Manage territory activity, pipeline, and sales reporting
• Operate within a 24/7 service-driven environment, responding to customer needs outside standard business hours when urgent issues arise
• Provide on-site support and oversight of field crews during installations, repairs, and service work to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
• Represent the company professionally while building long-term client relationships

Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in outside sales within industrial, mechanical, or equipment-based industries
• Experience working with customers in heavy industrial environments such as mining, sand & gravel, pulp and paper, shipping/ports, or similar industries
• Proven experience in a field-based sales role with regular in-person customer interaction
• Experience coordinating, supporting, or working alongside field crews, service teams, or job site operations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with on-call expectations
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience selling conveyor systems, bulk material handling equipment, or industrial mechanical products
• Background in heavy industrial, manufacturing, industrial services, or construction-related industries
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Work Environment
This role operates in a field-based sales environment supporting heavy industrial customers throughout the assigned territory spanning Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. Work includes frequent travel to customer sites such as plants, mills, quarries, and industrial facilities. PPE and safety compliance are required when visiting job sites.
