The engineer will also collaborate with senior network engineers on assigned projects, document procedures, and audit IP addresses. Additionally, the role involves working with field techs to finalize client installations for standard services.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare, and reset equipment (Ubiquiti, Cisco, MikroTik, etc.) for installationInstall, replace, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, APs, and phonesManage daily technical tasks, including call handling, email responses, ticket resolution, and equipment preparationAudit and organize inbound/outbound equipment shelvesCoordinate RMAs for faulty equipment with vendorsCollaborate with senior engineers to implement network solutions • Audit and update IP addresses as neededCollaborate with field techs to complete client installations for standard servicesHandle all tasks for HomeNet, BizNet, MultiNet, VoiceNet, AirNet, and VisionNetMaintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changesCommunicate effectively with IT, customer service, and field technicians to ensure smooth operationsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel out of town as requiredAvailability to work any shift and punctuality requiredQualification and SkillsEducational & Professional:High school diploma or equivalentCisco CCNA (required)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a background checkSpanish Speakers are a plusTechnical Skills:Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols (e.g., OSPF) and Layer 2 protocols (e.g., STP, VTP, VLAN, trunking)Basic wired and wireless networking conceptsEntry-level troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve network issuesSoft Skills:Excellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsPhysical & Environmental:Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbsVisual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details for installation and troubleshootingAbility to work in various outdoor conditions, including inclement weatherBenefits:Paid on-the-job trainingHealth insuranceDental insurancePaid time off401(k)
