Accounts Payable Clerk

Probst Electric Accounts Payable ClerkProbst Electric is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Caldwell, Idaho team! The Accounts Payable Clerk supports the organization's financial operations by ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made in a timely manner. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role is essential in maintaining strong vendor relationships and the integrity of financial records.Key Responsibilities:Process invoices accurately and on time, meeting all discount and payment deadlinesFocus on accurate coding for invoicesRequest missing invoices as neededEnter invoices and route for approvalMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiptsMatch approved invoices to checks and electronic paymentsResearch and resolve invoice and receipt discrepanciesReconcile vendor statementsReconcile purchase card transactions and receiptsPrepare, analyze, and distribute various financial/tax forms and support documentsSupport audit requests as necessaryIdentify and resolve issues appropriatelyResearch and follow up with vendors and divisions on outstanding paymentsCommunicate internal and external issues accordinglyObtain proper approvals and other documents for expense reimbursementOther duties as assignedQualifications & Experience:Data entry experienceMicrosoft Word, Excel, Project, and other associated softwareExcellent computer skillsAnalytical problem solvingExcellent written and oral communication; including spelling and grammarExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous recordsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with JD Edwards and Kofax AP Agility a plusWhat You'll Get:At Probst Electric Inc., a proud subsidiary of Quanta Services, you'll join a team that takes pride in delivering high-voltage transmission construction, design-build solutions, and maintenance services for public and private utilities.
