We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Morse Correctional Healthcare at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview, FL. Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving screenings and triaging fit for confinement
• Nurse sick calls
• Passing & Administering medications
• Assisting the physician and nurse practitioner
• Responds to medical emergencies
• Take vital signs
• Provide treatments to include:
  • Wound Care
  • Blood Sugar checks
  • Administer insulin
  • Nebulizer treatments
• Documents all encounters using a SOAP format in state of the art EMR

Job Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted PN license in the state of FL
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• PRN Contract Required
