Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post offers the opportunity to support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel.
- Communicate with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed, providing directions, incident details, and other security-related information in accordance with site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
