Demonstrate empathy, active listening, and strong product knowledge to understand visual needs and recommend frames, lenses, and lens enhancements that best suit each patient's lifestyle and budget. Support front office and optical operations by preparing patient profiles, updating records, and assisting with opening and closing tasks. Maintain optical inventory, including frames, lenses, and accessories, and place orders as needed to ensure product availability and attractive merchandising. Spend dedicated time with patients in the optical, guiding frame selection, taking accurate measurements (such as pupillary distance and segment heights), and reviewing lens options and coatings. Accurately document eyewear orders, verify prescriptions, coordinate with labs, and ensure timely, precise processing of all optical transactions. Engage in ongoing cross-training in both front desk and optical functions to foster personal and professional growth within the practice. Requirements: Prior experience in an eyecare setting is required. A strong emphasis on efficiency, effectiveness, and meticulous attention to detail in patient care.
