Respiratory Therapist

Full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care in acute, emergency, and critical care settings near Globe, AZ. The role supports patient assessment, ventilation management, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support.
2. Perform patient assessments, monitor respiratory status, and respond to changes in condition.
3. Manage mechanical ventilators and assist with airway management.
4. Conduct arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results.
5. Provide emergency respiratory care in ER and ICU settings.
6. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
7. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments.
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Active Arizona Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Preferred Skills:

• Acute care experience.
• Emergency room (ER) and intensive care unit (ICU) support.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and airway management.
• Proficiency in arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
• Familiarity with critical access hospital environments.
• PALS certification.
