Employment Type: Full-Time | 35–40 hours per week

Schedule: Core hours 9:00 AM–5:00 PM,

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Flexibility to shift to a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM schedule as needed (approximately 1 day per week) based on parent's travel schedule

Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 annually (W-2)

Requirements

• Experience with infants, toddlers, and early school-age children required
• Experience in a household role preferred (house manager, family assistant, or comparable household role)
• CPR and first aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable supervising children around water (home has a pool)
• Candidates are required to be up to date on recommended vaccinations in line with American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines (including MMR and Tdap; annual flu vaccination preferred), subject to applicable legal accommodations
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required; mileage reimbursement provided
• Maintain a smoke-free environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable working in a Christian household

About Our Family

We are a warm, busy family of five based in the Texas Hill Country with a dad who travels frequently for work, a mom who is deeply hands-on and the heartbeat of the household, and three daughters full of energy, curiosity, and personality. We are a faith-centered family, and our home reflects that in the way we speak to one another, how we raise our girls, and the values we prioritize each day.

Our days are full and our logistics are real: school drop-offs for a new kindergartener and preschooler, two nap schedules, dance class, meal routines, and all the moving pieces that come with raising young children. Key Responsibilities

Family Support

• Provide warm, attentive, and age-appropriate care and supervision for three children, including an infant, a toddler, and an early elementary-age child so the primary parent can step away for errands, school pick-up, or personal time without worry
• Assist with morning routines, school-day preparation, backpacks, clothing, and snacks
• Handle school and activity drop-off and pick-up as needed
• Manage afternoon routines during overlapping nap windows
• Openness to eventually traveling with the family to provide support preferred, pending employee availability and with advance notice for scheduling

Household Organization & Maintenance

• Execute daily and weekly resets to keep the home running smoothly (dishes, wiping surfaces, picking up clutter, vacuuming high-traffic areas, etc.)
• Prepare the home for bi-weekly cleaning service visits
• Maintain all household organization systems established for the new home, with particular ownership of the mudroom, walk-in pantry, laundry room, and all closets
• Ensure toys are returned to their correct, designated locations after use; support a system the children can follow independently and evolve with as they grow
• Manage seasonal clothing transitions for all three children — proactively pulling bins from storage, sorting by size, and rotating out items that no longer fit
• Coordinate outgrown clothing and toy donations, including organizing hand-me-down bins in the storage shed
• Assist with settling into the new home, including breaking down moving boxes and supporting ongoing organization
• Support travel planning and packing for family trips and assist with unpacking and laundry upon return
• Keep outdoor patio areas tidy

Meal Support

• Take full ownership of meal planning for the week: proactively review family calendar, ask intentional questions about preferences, and plan accordingly
• Prepare dinners 2–4 times per week (batch or fresh, based on the week's schedule) with a focus on protein-forward, whole foods, and low-carb options for adults with adaptations for the children
• Pack school lunches and snacks for school the day before
• Wash, chop, and prep produce so healthy snacks are always accessible
• Complete 1–2 grocery runs per week, including a mid-week or end-of-week stock-up to ensure the family is well-supplied heading into the weekend (in-store or delivery)
• Maintain a tidy and organized kitchen space

Laundry & Linens

• Manage family laundry: wash, dry, fold, hang, and put away completely, including in children's closets so each child can easily find their own things
• Hang dry and perform special garment care as needed
• Rotate bedding and refresh towels regularly
• Keep laundry areas organized and stocked with supplies

Inventory & Errands

• Maintain and update household supply lists
• Track and restock pantry, refrigerator, toiletries, and household supplies on an ongoing basis
• Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon, Target, Costco, etc.)
• Run errands as needed: returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, groceries, and similar tasks
• Handle mail, packages, and delivery coordination

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

• Maintain cleanliness of specific owned zones on an ongoing basis; flag deeper cleaning needs to the bi-weekly cleaning crew
• Clean and maintain humidifiers, air purifiers, and the washing machine on a proactive recurring calendar
• Roll up sleeves for occasional spot cleans and special organizational projects as the home and seasons require

Vehicle Upkeep

• Keep the family vehicle clean, tidy, and organized
• Run the family vehicle through the car wash and vacuum as needed
• Schedule routine maintenance appointments as needed

Vendor & Property Oversight

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for recurring service providers including cleaners, pool service, pest control, and HVAC maintenance
• Ensure annual and seasonal home maintenance items are planned and scheduled based on the family's property list
• Coordinate access and communication with vendors as needed

Administrative Support

• Maintain access to the shared family calendar; proactively look ahead for schedule changes, work travel weeks, school events, holidays, and other dates that affect the household rhythm
• Proactively flag upcoming needs (e.g., teacher appreciation, school events, weekend stocking)
