Phlebotomist - Neighborhood Clinics - Full time - Day shift

Job Summary The Phlebotomist performs phlebotomy functions including venipuncture and microcollection ensuring quality and timeliness of collection, processing, and distribution of specimens and input of required information into LIS. They perform Point of Care (POC) tests as defined by the department and act as Senior phlebotomist when circumstances require. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy training program (preferred). Certification by a recognized certifying agency (required within first 18 months of employment; preferred earlier). At least one year of hospital-based experience (preferred).
