Veterinary Technician

Well established, growing small animal practice in Fort Myers is seeking a full time veterinary technician. Just 4 Pets Wellness Center is privately owned and we pride ourselves on providing customized, quality pet care to fit the individual need of every single patient. We have a fabulous team that really work together and believe that healthy pets are happy pets. Responsibilities Surgery prep and monitoring, including IV catheter placement, venipuncture, intubation and use of Doppler blood pressure monitoring and digital radiographs. Discussions about preventative wellness medicine with clients as well as routine history gathering for both sick and well rooms. Qualifications Certification in Veterinary Technology with a current licensure in Florida (a plus, but not required). 3 to 5 years of veterinary experience is required. 2+ years experience in veterinary ER is a plus, but not required. Ability to perform all necessary tasks expected of an experienced technician. Courteous attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Up-tone personality and a drive to do your very best every day. Availability to work any of the hours and days the clinic is open. Experience with cloud-based software is preferred, but not required.
