Staff Nurse - LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Marklund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing residential, educational, and therapeutic services for individuals with profound disabilities. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse – LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team in Elgin. The role includes full‑time and part‑time shifts with competitive hourly rates ranging from $32.25 to $34.75 per hour, plus shift differentials for MCDD, PM, night, and weekend shifts. PRN/IHR LPN on‑call rates are $33 per hour with a weekend differential. Responsibilities Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed. Prepare quarterly and annual health assessments. Inform physicians of changes in resident health status and implement physician orders. Complete daily charting for care provided. Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers regarding resident status. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and current registration in Illinois Health Care Worker Registry. Current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
