Scholarly Communications Librarian

Description The University at Albany is accepting applications for the tenure-track faculty position of Scholarly Communication Librarian at the rank of Assistant Librarian or Senior Assistant Librarian or Associate Librarian. This position is responsible for developing and executing the advancement of open, equitable, and sustainable scholarly communication strategies at UAlbany. Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Academic Success, the successful candidate leads the University Libraries' suite of scholarly communication services including copyright, author rights, and scholarly publishing. This position advances scholarly communication initiatives by developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders among university and library faculty, staff, and students. Research, publication, and service to the Libraries, University, and profession are expected to satisfy criteria for continuing appointment (tenure) and promotion.
