This role is based in a dynamic Emergency Department setting, encompassing a 54-bed, state-designated Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of expert physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff, treating over 60,000 patients per year. Schedule/Hours:

• Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week
• Holidays as required
• Every other weekend
• Flexibility to float to other units and hospitals

• Associate degree in nursing
• Registered Nurse, State of Alabama or Compact license (no temp licenses accepted)
• Two years of experience (will consider 18 months if at highest professional license and at least 1 year of current specialty experience)
• AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS or Red Cross, NIHSS
• TNCC certification
• SECURE certification on site
• NURSYS licensure verification

• Deliver expert emergency care to patients of all ages
• Assess and respond to trauma and acute medical needs
• Float to various units and local hospitals as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care
