Registered Nurse, NICU, Per Diem

Position Registered Nurse – NICU (Per Diem) Location Boston Medical Center – NICU Compensation Hourly range: $39.02–$90.05, based on qualifications. Additional compensation includes medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits, contract increases, flexible spending accounts, 403(b) savings matches, earned time cash out, and paid time off. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education. Communicate effectively with health‑care team members, patients, and families. Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter‑professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records; enter and interpret computerized data. Follow BMC Brighton nursing guidelines and policies. Assist leadership in quality‑improvement projects. Requirements Licensed as a registered nurse in Massachusetts. Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred), with ability to obtain a BSN within four years. BLS certification; ACLS and NRP certifications required within 90 days of hire. AWHONN EFM Intermediate or Advanced certification required within eight weeks of hire. Minimum one year of NICU experience. Experience with electronic health record preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
