Job Description We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Physical Therapist in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Glen Burnie. Mentorship is available to customize a program that meets your needs. Responsibilities Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results Review the physician’s referral, the patient's condition, and medical records to determine the required physical therapy treatment Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers Supervise patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians Create a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and build a comprehensive program to attain those goals Implement the physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers’ compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports Qualifications Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus Reliable transportation; this position will split coverage with a nearby local Bayside clinic Current state of Maryland license and CPR certification Exercise- and manual-based skills with sports rehabilitation experience Outgoing and energetic personality New graduates are welcome – we will mentor you! Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 -$90,000 . Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
