Sunland Asphalt, LLC. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) to join our booming business. This position is hybrid and requires on-site visits 3-4 times a week.
Sunland is a leading asphalt solutions provider and general contractor known for delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and innovation to its customers. With a reputation built on decades of combined industry expertise, we specialize in a full range of services-including commercial and residential paving, maintenance and repair, sealcoating, milling, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
The Sr. TAP is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of high-volume construction roles as well as a wide range of construction management positions supporting complex, high-visibility projects. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role partners closely with hiring leaders to assess current and future staffing needs, define role requirements, and execute effective talent acquisition strategies. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner leverages market insights, proactive sourcing, and pipeline development to deliver qualified candidates while ensuring an efficient and positive hiring experience. The Sr. TAP will work independently on high-stake projects and initiates. This role plays a key part in building a strong, scalable workforce aligned with business priorities and project timelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Executes full-cycle recruitment for various roles which may include high-volume, hard-to-fill, and key roles. Supports leadership by effectively performing intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offer development.
- Partners with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create compelling postings and develop targeted sourcing strategies where appropriate.
- Builds and maintains proactive talent pipelines using varied sourcing techniques, networking. Serves as a brand ambassador by promoting the organization's employee value proposition through social media, professional networks, and industry events.
- Ensures timely communications with candidates and hiring manager to ensure stakeholders are aware of talent acquisition status of candidates. Promotes a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Executes recruitment across diverse markets by assessing local labor dynamics, tailoring sourcing strategies, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality hiring aligned with regional needs.
- Captures and leverages metrics to understand recruitment performance and reports as appropriate.
- Follows established talent acquisition processes to ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations and contract requirements.
- Utilizes applicant tracking systems (ATS) and related platforms to maintain accurate candidate records and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Provides guidance and leadership to hiring managers and less experienced talent acquisition staff to reinforce best practice sourcing and candidate engagement.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition leadership on special projects, which may include sourcing initiatives, employer branding, and process optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a multi-site or high-volume environment.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques and social media recruiting.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
