Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• 60 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience: Required

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Preferred Credentials: - TCAR preferred.

Special Requests: - All call outs must be made up at the end of the assignment.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Covers surgical, cardiac, trauma, medical, and neuro ICUs.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: - Float between all adult ICUs and step-down units and must be able to work in any assigned unit. - Will not be assigned to post cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD patients.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
