[p]Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – 13‑week assignment at a facility in St. Matthews, South Carolina.[/p] Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, examinations, and history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans, utilizing exercise and manual therapy techniques. Operate and maintain specialized equipment and modalities safely. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document all interventions in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe, infection‑controlled treatment environment and address patient comfort needs. Participate in quality assurance initiatives, professional development, and discharge planning. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.[/li] Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (preferred). Experience in physical therapy (new graduates welcome). Additional certifications or licenses may be required for this position.[/li] Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in PC skills.[/li] Physical and Technical Requirements Maintain stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures using department equipment. Accurate visual acuity required for safe practice.
