School Speech Language Pathologist - Cumming, Georgia

Beginning July 28th, 2026 and continuing through May 28th, 2027, you'll provide vital communication and language support to students across assigned schools in a supportive, collaborative district. The full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week allows you to develop strong connections with your students and school teams throughout the academic year.


Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license
• GA Educator Certificate required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to different school assignments as determined before the start of the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for identified students in line with IEP goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records for all caseloads
• Participate as a collaborative member of multidisciplinary teams, including IEP meetings and staff consultations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs
• Provide training and guidance to teachers and families to facilitate carryover of therapy goals into the classroom and home environment
