Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Summary:

Provide specialized outpatient gynecologic oncology nursing care in a fast-paced university outpatient unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment while adhering to clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in medical records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety protocols, including holiday staffing requirements and certification standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an outpatient oncology or gynecology setting.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current AHA BLS, ACLS, and ONC certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work scheduled hours, including two major holidays and one minor holiday.
