Surgical Technologist

We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team!As a Surgical Technologist at Viewmont Surgery Center, you'll be an integral part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless surgeries. If you're excited about the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives, keep reading!Responsibilities:Prepare the operating room for surgery like a rockstar, setting up equipment, instruments, and supplies with precision and speedAssist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during procedures, maintaining a calm and focused demeanor even in high-pressure situations.Sterilize instruments and equipment with military precision, adhering to strict infection control protocols.Manage patient records and charts with ease, accurately documenting vital information and updates.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient patient care, from pre-op to post-op.Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgeons' assistants, hold retractors, and cut sutures, and perform other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation.Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues alike.Stay current with the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices in surgical technology.Qualifications:Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT), preferred1-2 years of experience in an operating room settingStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitaskExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:Opportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative work environment with a supportive teamRecognition for your hard work and dedicationMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePTO and holiday payNo on-call, nights or weekends**Ready to join the OR squad?
