Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor plays a vital role in directing daily operations for finished goods, focusing on palletizing and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. This role demands a strong attention to detail, effective leadership, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hourly production metrics, including case counts, to ensure targets are achieved.
• Read and execute the daily run plan accurately to meet operational goals.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to both new hires and returning team members on equipment and workflow procedures.
• Enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all company safety policies.
• Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor in all communications with staff.
• Collaborate with the supervisor by promptly reporting any employee-related issues or concerns.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in inventory control and management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Ability to supervise and manage production processes.
• Capability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (bilingual Spanish/English preferred).
• Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, and turn.
• Comfortable working in cold and wet environments.
• Ability to climb stairs and platforms.
• Ability to watch fast-moving conveyors without discomfort

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bakersfield,CA.
