Line Cook

Blyth & Burrows, an upscale cocktail bar serving small plates is hiring a line cook position. The Line Cook prepares high-quality small plates, upscale bar bites, and appetizers designed to complement a premium craft cocktail menu. This role requires speed, precision, and strict adherence to aesthetic presentation in a fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities Food Preparation: Prep fresh ingredients, sauces, and garnishes daily according to established recipes. Order Execution: Cook and assemble dishes quickly and accurately based on live ticket orders. Plating & Presentation: Maintain strict visual standards to match a high-end cocktail lounge aesthetic. Station Management: Set up, stock, break down, and clean the line station before and after service. Inventory Control: Monitor ingredient freshness, track waste, and rotate stock using FIFO methods. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all local food handler safety and department of health regulations. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or short-order cook. Certification: Valid local Food Handler's Certificate or SERV Safe certification preferred. Availability: Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
