Schedule: ROTA Monday–Sunday, 7 days on, and 7 days off (with flexibility)

About the Family

A warm, loving, and hands-on family in Fairfield, CT, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Nanny to care for their 9-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. They also have a small French bulldog.

They are looking for a warm, dependable, and organized live-in nanny/household support person to join their family and help care for their children and home. The role includes daily support with school drop-offs and pick-ups, children’s activities, camps, playdates, birthday parties, and general family commitments. They are looking for someone who is proactive, nurturing, calm under pressure, and comfortable being an important part of a busy family environment. Flexibility is important, as the role may also include family travel, both domestic and international.

A very important part of this position is helping support their son, including management of his Type 1 diabetes and providing structure and consistency for his high-functioning autism needs. Additionally, the daughter has ADHD and dyslexia. Experience with Type 1 diabetes, autism, ADHD, and dyslexia is preferred, but training may also be provided.

Living accommodations on the property are provided. They are seeking someone who values long-term stability, consistency for the children, and becoming a trusted part of our family support system.

• Warm, engaging, and proactive personality
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset with parents
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
• Organized, reliable, and safety-focused
• College degree preferred (but not required)

Additional Details

• Live-In Position/ Carriage House Apartment
• Paid Vacation
• Travel 6-8 weeks per year for spring break/winter break, and 4-6 weeks in summer
• Family home is approximately 6000 sq. ft
