Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher for our on-campus transportation at the Rutgers University Campus in New Brunswick, NJ, you will join a cross-functional team, keeping the lines of communication open between its employees and customers. This role provides an opportunity for growth within the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the U.S. Pay rate starting at $25.00 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with experience level. Shifts: Overnight shift (must be able to work a flexible schedule) Floating shift (must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, weekends and overnights as needed) Full-time shifts only. Requirements At least 1 year of scheduling or operations experience in bus or motorcoach industry MS Outlook and Excel CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements is preferred Responsibilities Review schedules and requests Coordinate with terminal leadership, customer service, and other teams to ensure safe and effective operations Prepare for next day roll-out Fuel relief vehicles as needed Desired Qualities Ability to manage in a fast paced, high change work environment Solid internal and external customer service skills Organized, analytical and drive for results Instinct for process improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong note-taking skills to clearly share key takeaways with team members Health Insurance and Benefits Offered Include Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription and Life insurance Supplemental coverages 401K plan Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Academy is an EEO.
