Our compassionate, highly trained staff understand the journey of fertility treatment and work to ensure every patient feels comfortable, respected, and empowered, with the goal of helping each one achieve a timely, successful pregnancy.The RoleThe Laboratory Technician plays a hands-on role in the clinical lab at one of Illinois' leading fertility practices, performing semen analysis, maintaining regulatory compliance, and helping ensure every result that leaves the lab is accurate, consistent, and quality-checked. We're looking for a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in the accuracy of their work.What You'll DoYou'll be hands-on from day one, including:Perform semen analysis and provide backup support for IUI sperm preparationsMaintain lab inventory and supplies for the Endocrinology and Andrology departmentConduct quality assurance tests and maintain accurate documentation to meet OSHA, CAP, AAB, and CLIA standardsTroubleshoot and maintain lab equipment, serving as the internal liaison for related vendorsTrain lab personnel on OSHA regulations, equipment use, and proceduresMaintain detailed cryopreservation records for sperm storageWhat We're Looking ForAssociate's degree or equivalent in a biological science (Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field)Hands-on laboratory experience, comfortable working independently in a clinical lab settingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityClear communicator who works well as part of a close-knit clinical teamComfortable with a rotating weekend schedule shared among the lab teamWhat We Offer$24–$28/hr, commensurate with experience, plus medical, dental, and vision insurancePTO, 401(k), HSA & FSAShort-term disability, critical illness coverage, and life insurance, including a complimentary policy for all employeesScheduleFull-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an every-other-Saturday rotation from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Sunday hours as needed based on patient load.
