Bilingual Procurement Expeditor

Under policy direction from the Procurement Manager and the Project Team, The Bilingual Procurement Expeditor supports ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment by managing procurement activities from manufacturing through inspection, shipment, and site delivery. The position also coordinates vendor performance, schedule compliance, and progress payment administration. Essential duties and responsibilities Supports and follow up orders and secure vendor production schedules to ensure deliveries are completed on time for the project. Ensure vendors submit all required documents, including GA drawings, ITPs, and other technical submittals, in a timely manner; coordinate the review and approval process; and conduct vendor shop visits as necessary to resolve production and schedule issues. Coordinate the inspection schedule and making sure materials and equipment are inspected with approved certificate before delivery to project site. Conduct vendor shop visits when schedule delays or other performance issues arise. Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Company. Qualifications/Requirements Must be eligible to work in the US legally without visa sponsorship Korean/English bilingual is a must (Native proficiency including writing and reading) At least 2 years of proven experience in procurement work Ability to handle confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Some analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work. Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SAP) Analytical thinking and demonstrated ability to solve problems Strong ability to multitask and complete deadlines. Must feel comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong time management skills BS degree or any equivalent practical experience.
