Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Director of Nursing (DON) to provide nursing leadership and clinical oversight for a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and department leaders.
• Coordinate staffing plans and workforce management initiatives.
• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Manage clinical risk, infection control, and regulatory readiness.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience strongly preferred.
• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
