Staff Accountant The Company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will support core accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with teams across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable working with data, and able to communicate financial information clearly to both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Assist with external audit requests and year-end reporting requirements. Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning processes. Analyze and explain budget-to-actual variances and period-over-period changes, providing clear, actionable insights to leadership. Assist in identifying and implementing improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within accounting processes and ERP systems. Collaborate with internal teams including operations, sales, and leadership. Communicate financial information to department heads and maintain relationships with other departments. Requirements: Four-year college degree in Accounting 2-4 years of accounting work experience Understanding of GAAP principles and policies Exceptional thoroughness and attention to detail especially when working with large data sets Ability to work in fast paced, heavy data entry environment Intermediate Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, or data warehouse reporting tools. Focus on efficiency and automation, inclusive of utilizing AI tools Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Ability to work within a team concept and communicate with stakeholders throughout the organization Ability to comprehend fast-paced business issues and practices Curious mindset, willing to ask questions in order to gain confidence to make decisions Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment Strong time management skills Professional demeanor and attitude Why Join Switlik? Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
