Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join our team in Scranton, PA as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer). Use your experience operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, perform routine abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and fetal scans, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support patient care. This role is based in a hospital setting and involves variable day shift schedules with periodic weekend coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• ARDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN required.
• 5-8 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer, with demonstrable competence in routine abdominal, OB/GYN, and fetal scanning.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts and to serve as backup on call when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mixed shift schedules including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.
• Prior travel or contract ultrasound experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Variable day shift schedule including mixed 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.
• Every third weekend required; weekends may be 12-hour shifts and weekdays may include 10- and 8-hour shifts.
• May be required to work weekends alone.
• Call possible as backup.
