Emergency Room Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department setting.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room environment with approximately 230 patient visits per day.Manage a caseload that includes patients of all ages, with a focus on geriatric and adult populations, while also accommodating pediatric patients as needed.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Stroke and STEMI Center.Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.Adhere to emergency care protocols for conditions such as respiratory issues, strokes, abdominal pain, cardiac episodes, and sepsis.Float to similar units, including telemetry and ICU, as required.QualificationsMinimum of 1.5 years of experience in an emergency room setting; 2 years preferred.Stroke experience is required.Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is highly preferred.Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.Preferred certifications: TNCC and CEN or CPN.Limited pediatric experience is acceptable.Work ScheduleMUST be available to work weekends; may exceed every other weekend.At least 6 weekend shifts are required in a 6-week schedule cycle.Additional InformationHoliday requests for time off cannot be guaranteed.Free parking available for all staff.If you are a qualified Emergency Room Nurse (RN) with the necessary skills and certifications, we encourage you to apply and join our team in providing high-quality patient care.
