Compass Dental in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a talented and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in a flexible position! Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and preventive care
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist
• Educate and guide patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices
• Record patient treatment information and update dental charts accurately in practice management software
• Support front office and clinical team as needed in a flex capacity across scheduling and patient flow
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
• Cover front office as needed, schedule appointments

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification in the state of Texas
• Current Dental Radiography certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous chairside dental assisting experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar)
• Flexible availability and willingness to adapt to varying schedules and office needs
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first, compassionate attitude
