The Addison Northwest School District is seeking a School Psychologist starting August 2026. Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services, the School Psychologist will provide cognitive and achievement testing, behavioral management, and consultation services to staff and may be part of educational support teams, grade‑level teams, and MTSS teams at the school and district levels. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with teachers, administrators, support staff, students, and parents. Develop, write, and implement effective behavior plans, including data collection, analysis, and procedures. Assess student skills, behavior challenges, and social skills. Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports, records, and files. Work confidentially with discretion. Drive a vehicle to conduct work. Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field. Meet schedules and timelines. Provide work direction and guidance to assigned personnel. Interpret and understand state and federal laws and regulations regarding special education.
