Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support business performance reporting, financial planning, and operational analysis across multiple business functions. This role partners closely with finance, sales, and operations leaders to provide meaningful insights into financial results, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.


The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, advanced reporting skills, and the ability to translate complex business data into actionable recommendations.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain recurring financial reports and dashboards that provide visibility into operational and financial performance.
• Analyze business results and investigate variances against forecasts, budgets, and prior periods, communicating findings to key stakeholders.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes through preparation of financial analyses and performance summaries.
• Evaluate revenue, expense, customer, and market trends to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational drivers and their impact on financial outcomes.
• Create financial models and business cases to assess profitability, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Utilize reporting and analytics tools to extract, validate, and interpret large data sets.
• Conduct contract, pricing, and profitability reviews to support business decision-making.
• Provide ad hoc analysis, presentations, and reporting for leadership as business needs arise.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a similar function.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and executive-level presentations.
• Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Cognos, or Hyperion is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
