At Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in the design and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents to achieve their maximum functional potential

• Perform occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities, under the supervision of the occupational therapist

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries

• Participate in resident care conferences and case studies to ensure continuity of care

• Utilize exceptional communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Nevada

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology

Work Environment:

• Per Diem position at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, Nevada
