We are currently conducting a search for a Director of Nursing (DON) on behalf of a national senior living operator in Seattle, WA.
Title: Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: Seattle, WA
Compensation: Up to $150,000
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical operations across Assisted Living and Memory Care
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team including LPNs, caregivers, and department leaders
- Ensure high standards of resident care, safety, and satisfaction
- Foster a culture of hospitality and service alongside clinical excellence
- Provide clinical guidance including wound care, assessments, and nurse delegation as needed
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations and company policies
- Partner closely with Executive Director and leadership team on overall community performance
- Support staffing, scheduling, and team stability in a competitive labor market
- Identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvements
- Act as a visible, hands-on leader willing to step in and support the team when necessary
