Position: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour 

Location:  Stockton, CA

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Operator with the ability to operate a 3-pedal clutch forklift. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and stacking materials while supporting daily warehouse and distribution operations.

The ideal candidate has strong forklift operating skills, pays close attention to safety, and works effectively with warehouse personnel to maintain accurate and efficient material flow.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3-pedal clutch forklift to move, transport, and stack materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles.
• Transport products and materials to designated storage, staging, and production areas.
• Assist with order picking, shipment preparation, and staging outgoing orders.
• Properly stack and organize materials to maximize storage space and maintain safe warehouse conditions.
• Verify product quantities and identify damaged or incorrect materials during handling.
• Perform pre-operation forklift inspections and report equipment damage or mechanical concerns.
• Follow established warehouse procedures for material handling, loading, unloading, and inventory movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including forklift operating guidelines and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate with supervisors and warehouse team members to support daily operational goals.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 3-pedal clutch forklift preferred.
• Previous forklift or warehouse equipment operation experience preferred.
• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stack warehouse materials.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling, and shipment staging.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and proper equipment operation.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
