Travel RN - ICU

Requirements Active RN license (ME or Compact) required upon consideration BLS and other AHA certifications required, with non-AHA certifications accepted if AHA is completed before start Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required, plus prior travel experience preferred Experience with vasoactive drips and ventilators required ICU/SCU experience preferred EPIC EMR experience required Driver's License required upon consideration 2 professional references required Responsibilities SCU/IMC unit within an ICU department 8-bed unit with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1 Patient population includes SCU, IMC, MS, and occasionally Swing patients Uses ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and SCD boots Documents in EPIC EMR Night shift schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM Every other weekend required at minimum No on-call requirements for core hours Occasional floating to MS unit required 25-mile float policy applies between facilities as needed Provide direct patient care within a step-down/intermediate care unit setting Team environment values down-to-earth, proactive team players with high standards Navy blue scrubs required Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local, with local candidates not eligible for renewals or extensions RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should note this during consideration First-time travelers may be considered for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-744352 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
