They support the maintenance and engineering activities to ensure the delivery of quality product in a safe, efficient and timely manner. They support the Plant Managers and their team to ensure high plant availability and stable operations for the Omega-3 and Biolys plants. It is essential that the Plant Engineer works together as a team with the other engineers.ResponsibilitiesBe the "asset owner" for maintenance budget, spares inventory and management, equipment lifecycle management, technical optimization, preventive and predictive equipment maintenance applications, gatekeeping and shutdown management conceptProvide technical support on equipment issues, develop scopes for technical or capex changes, execute MOC's and follow-up on incident investigations, non-conformances and PHA.Fulfill the requirements for GPS-PT3 Plant Engineering / Maintenance and adhere to the GPS-PT6 Contractor Management.Keep plant documentation up to dateSupervise, coordinate, and check quality of workDevelop, maintain and optimize maintenance plansImplement new regulations and Evonik requirements, consider all relevant laws and other binding requirementsImplement measures derived from risk assessments, identify deviations and set up corrective measuresAlign maintenance topics, improvements, and failures with other relevant AN sites and colleaguesParticipate in creation of operational guidelines (e.g. SOPs) for production, health & safety, maintenanceCreate PORs, make good receipts (open package inspection) and other administrative work in SAP, follow up on invoicesRequirementsRequire a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or similar degree5+ years of experience is preferred.Previous experience with capex project, production, and/or maintenance experience.Strong communication and demonstrated collaboration skills as this role has the complexity of managing capex projects, supporting production & maintenance and process improvements for a multi customer site which includes a joint venture partner.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
