Part Time Warehouse Associate Summary: We are hiring a warehouse team member at an employee-owned company working at their central distribution center located in Grand Rapids, MI. Part Time Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Performing defined Distribution Center activities specific to the receipt, placement into inventory, selection for shipment, and shipment of stock
• Pick orders accurately and promptly
• Pack orders
• Receive inventory accurately and promptly
• Restock inventory in designated storage areas
• Truck loading and unloading according to established procedures
• Operate forklift, hand trucks, or other equipment
• Accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas
• Maintain quality and quantity performance and production standards
• Participate in ongoing general housekeeping of Distribution Center
• Check assigned equipment for proper operation/functionality and report problems to supervision
• Follow safe work habits and established safety procedures
• Participate in safety initiatives as assigned
• Attend meetings and training sessions
• Other Distribution Center tasks as assigned

Schedule & Pay:

• Part-Time 2nd Shift (16-24 hours/week)
  Flexible scheduling within the hours of 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
• $19.00/HR

Part Time Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse order selection is preferred but will train
• Attention to detail and ability to organize products by alpha-numeric coding
• Experience with RF scanners is a plus
• Position requires frequent walking and standing for 8-9 hours
• Ability to learn, understand and improve the shipping process is essential
