Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 academic year and summer session. Work alongside dedicated education professionals to make an impact in the lives of learners ages 5 to 21, specifically those with autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, or other health impairments.

This assignment runs from ASAP through June 28, 2027. Typical onsite hours during the school year are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During the summer session (June), hours are adjusted to 7:45 AM – 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current licensure/certification to practice as an SLP
• Previous experience in a school environment working with special needs students strongly preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of various disabilities including autism, emotional or developmental delays, and intellectual impairments
• Ability to conduct evaluations, perform assessments, and write detailed observation and progress reports
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and other service providers

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments for students ages 5-21
• Provide targeted therapy and interventions to meet individual student needs
• Write accurate, timely reports and maintain documentation in accordance with district policy
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement strategies for student success
• Support a caseload inclusive of students with a broad range of complex needs
