Sales experience is valued, but insurance experience isn't required! As an Account Representative, you'll play a key role in growing our agency by developing new customer relationships, identifying insurance needs, and helping individuals, families, and businesses make informed coverage decisions.

This is a production-focused role built around relationships, not just transactions. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through on commitments, embraces accountability, and understands that long-term success comes from earning customer confidence and delivering exceptional service.

New Business & Relationship Development

• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and follow-up with prospective customers.
• Build relationships with individuals, families, and local businesses throughout Central Montana.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to understand customer circumstances, priorities, and insurance needs.
• Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.

Customer Relationships & Agency Growth

• Build lasting customer relationships through proactive communication and dependable follow-through.
• Conduct coverage reviews and identify opportunities to address additional needs.

Performance & Professional Development

• Work toward established production goals and individual performance expectations.
• Maintain accurate prospect, customer, and activity records in agency systems.
• Manage daily priorities, prospecting activities, and follow-up commitments.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward measurable results.
• Professionalism, integrity, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to identify customer needs, explain options, and confidently ask for business.
• Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in insurance, financial services, banking, retail, or another relationship-driven industry.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, business development, or meeting performance goals.
• Experience developing and managing customer relationships.
• Active Montana Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses.
• Previous insurance agency experience.
