Schedule: M-F; 8a-4p

To provide high quality integrated behavioral health screenings and brief crisis interventions to clients with identified behavioral health needs. Key responsibilities include screening new clients at risk in primary care settings to identify and address their presenting problems, conducting psychosocial assessments and providing crisis interventions, offering brief interventions to individuals experiencing biopsychosocial stressors, delivering direct clinical services, including evaluations and counseling using motivational interviewing, reviewing client records and developing comprehensive evaluation reports, assisting with service coordination and follow-up procedures, coordinating consultations and services with community agencies and health service providers, collaborating with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop client-centered treatment plans, re-assessing clients and updating treatment plans as necessary, working a flexible full-time schedule, including some evenings and weekends, meeting monthly with a clinical supervisor to review client cases, documenting all client encounters in the medical record within three days, performing billing activities according to agency procedures, staying informed on developments in integrated behavioral techniques and research, advising patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include a master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences, a "full" current Texas license (LCSW LPC or LMFT) in good standing with their credentialing board, a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing assessment, brief intervention and/or psychotherapy, the ability to manage multiple deadlines and decision making responsibilities, and obtaining, maintaining and participating in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers' compensation, other federal and state reimbursement programs, and the payment plan of any commercial insurer, health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization, accountable health plan, and other health benefit program requested by Legacy.
