Title: Machine Operator 1 - Night Shift

Location: Mebane, NC 27302
Schedule: Night Shift; Monday - Thursday, 8:45 PM - 7:15 AM (40 hours per week).

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Machine Operator for our night shift operations. This role involves operating production machinery, performing in-process quality checks, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities:

• Manually package kits and pull/feed raw material for orders on the production line.
• Perform cleaning functions, and complete routine set up, start up, and shut down tasks for the machine.
• Test and inspect parts for in-process quality checks.
• Clear common machine faults and perform a few controls and adjustments for machine settings.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow and document established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and accurately complete paperwork.
• Train other team members and offer input for Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow all company housekeeping and safety policies and procedures.
• Work overtime as required to meet business requirements and perform other duties as required.
• Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of a Windows environment is required.
• Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmetic. Can effectively work in a team setting and communicate successfully across the department.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, with the skill to recognize any deviations from specifications.
  

Education & Experience:

• High school degree required with a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 40 lbs.
