Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value access points, verifying credentials and/or access authorization in accordance with site protocols.
• Support opening and closing procedures, report suspicious activity and/or policy violations, and complete required incident and patrol reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
