Your Role in This Mission

• Performing extensive patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and developing custom care approaches
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions both independently and in collaboration with physicians (as appropriate)
• Providing education to patients and their families on preventative care and health management
• Prescribing medications and treatments conforming to your professional scope
• Contributing to follow-up care and the management of chronic conditions
• Working in tandem with interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive, cohesive care
• Accurately documenting care within electronic medical record systems

What We're Looking For

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the appropriate bodies

Certifications Needed

• A current Nurse Practitioner license in New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a related equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure within 90 days)
