The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. He/she functions within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while maintaining high standards of practice. The role involves coordinating patient care activities and supervising assigned staff to ensure delivery of quality nursing services. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor's degree preferred. No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred. Valid RN license in the relevant state and BCLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, or chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification.
