FACE Culture: All Team Members of FACE are expected to support the brand through active engagement in our core values: Faith: being confident in one another Attitude: responding positively regardless of circumstances Consistency: doing what is expected everyday Excellence: pursuing my personal best Duties and Responsibilities: Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Chef or other kitchen manager Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables and meats Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients Parboiling food, reducing sauces, and starting first steps in various dishes Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen Adhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards Keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to order resupply Team Member may be required to perform other duties Have Fun! Requirements: Experience working as a prep cook in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking and organizational skills Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene Passionate about culinary arts and creative cooking Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time Enjoy Having Fun!
