Senior Communications Strategist, Engineering

This role blends storytelling, strategic messaging, editorial excellence, and integrated communications to drive clarity, engagement, and business impact.The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and operator—someone who can simplify highly technical concepts into memorable narratives while influencing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. This role reflects the type of strategic storytelling and technical narrative leadership emphasized across Oracle communications and content strategy roles.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute communications strategies that support engineering, product, and corporate priorities.Translate complex technical concepts—including AI, cloud infrastructure, platforms, and emerging technologies—into clear, compelling, and audience-focused narratives.Create messaging frameworks, executive narratives, and storytelling strategies that align across internal and external channels.Partner with engineering executives and technical teams to identify innovation stories, customer impact, and thought leadership opportunities.Write and edit high-impact communications materials including blogs, executive talking points, keynote content, customer stories, presentations, social posts, white papers, FAQs, newsletters, and organizational updates.Drive editorial consistency and message alignment across product marketing, communications, analyst relations, social, and leadership communications teams.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, marketing, HR, and executive leadership to support launches, organizational initiatives, and strategic programs.Help shape Oracle’s voice in technical storytelling by bringing a human-centered, customer-focused perspective to engineering innovation.Manage communications plans, timelines, and stakeholder reviews across multiple concurrent initiatives.Measure communications effectiveness and continuously optimize messaging, engagement, and reach.Only Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
