Safety Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire)

We're seeking three Safety Coordinators to support high-visibility data center projects across multiple Columbus-area sites. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of safety-adjacent experience or direct safety roles in healthcare, construction, or manufacturing environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential for individuals passionate about workplace safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site safety operations
• Maintain documentation and safety compliance records
• Assist with onboarding safety practices for new personnel
• Monitor low-level risks in a data center environment
• Partner with technicians, contractors, and leadership to foster a safety-first culture
• Report and file incidents, assist in investigations if needed
• Ensure PPE and site safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in a safety-related or adjacent role within the past 5 years; EMTs, construction safety, healthcare, and manufacturing experience highly encouraged
• Certifications: OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; organized and comfortable with administrative tasks; eagerness to grow into a long-term safety-focused role

Schedule & Shift Details

• QTS NBY – Project Safety Coordinator (1st Shift)
• Hours: Standard 1st Shift | 40 hours/week + OT

Additional Info

• Must be eligible to convert to full-time under PSI terms after contract period
• OneSource Level 2+ background check required prior to onboarding
• Metro Columbus-area candidates preferred, note LCT/NBY locations needed ASAP
